The La Jolla Water Polo club is an age group development program sanctioned by United States Water Polo. Our goal is to create an environment where younger athletes can gain exposure to the game of water polo and high school age athletes can develop their skills to make them competitive at the high school level and possibly, the higher skilled athletes, into college prospects. We encourage academics, good sportsmanship, healthy living, positive peer pressure, a drug free environment, and a strong, disciplined work ethic. We are a year round program that culminates each year with at trip in August to either the Junior Olympics or Hawaii for a national water polo tournament. We practice at the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex, on the La Jolla High School property, and play in local leagues and tournaments as well as in tournaments in Los Angeles and Orange County.
